When Language Becomes Knowledge Infrastructure

Knowledge does not enter public reality directly; it enters through titles, forms, classifications, metadata and submission protocols, and FormatAdmission is the operator that names this threshold — the point where content is judged only after it has already passed through a technical gate. What survives that gate is rarely left untouched. Repetition and institutional use produce SemanticHardening, the process by which a provisional formulation becomes difficult to reopen, eventually read as simply true rather than as one framing among several. The result, at scale, is SyntheticLegibility: not raw information but a constructed navigability, a set of paths built so that complex knowledge can be found and used without being reduced to disconnected fragments.
