RegimeMutation names the reciprocal transformation produced when a concept, practice or form of evidence enters another regime of knowledge or authority. The incoming element changes because it must satisfy unfamiliar classifications, procedures and standards. The receiving system may also change if admission requires it to revise what counts as evidence, expertise or legitimate action. Mutation differs from translation because no exact equivalence is assumed. Its central test is asymmetry: institutions often alter the travelling concept while remaining structurally unchanged themselves. RegimeMutation becomes significant when passage leaves both the carried material and the receiving architecture recognisably different.
