AtmospherePosture names the modification of bodily disposition by an environmental condition before it becomes conscious interpretation or decision. Heat, noise, surveillance, solemnity, crowding or welcome can alter stance, pace, breath and readiness without issuing an explicit instruction. The operator links atmosphere to action by showing how environments prepare bodies for compliance, avoidance, encounter or resistance. What appears as individual posture may therefore be the embodied registration of a distributed spatial condition.
