DisciplinePartition names the division through which a field gains precision while producing zones it can no longer perceive. Specialisation makes objects manageable, methods repeatable and expertise accountable. Yet the boundary also distributes blindness: relations operating across ecology, law, architecture, technology or lived experience may disappear because no discipline owns the complete problem. The operator does not oppose expertise. It identifies the moment when a necessary partition becomes an explanation for why consequences located just beyond it remain unexamined.
