FantasyControl names the power of an anticipated image to direct present decisions before the represented condition materially exists. Renderings, forecasts, scenarios and promised futures can organise investment, consent and sacrifice as though they were already facts. Fantasy is not simply illusion; it is an operative projection that distributes attention and possibility. The operator asks which present actions become authorised by a future image, who controls that image and what remains excluded because another future has been made difficult to imagine.
