ContradictionSurvival names the capacity of a system to continue by learning to inhabit a contradiction it cannot resolve. The opposing principles are not reconciled; procedures, exceptions and distributed responsibilities make their coexistence sustainable. This mechanism explains why recognised failure does not necessarily produce transformation. Institutions may become highly competent at absorbing evidence against their own premises. The Core closes here because institutional consequence is often defined not by the elimination of contradiction, but by the durable arrangements through which contradiction becomes normal operating condition.
