Socioplastics [9032] DesireOrientation — Core XIV · Conditions of Appearance · Pre-Object Direction, Affective Geometry, Possible Futures and Relational Attraction · Socioplastics · Anto Lloveras · LAPIEZA-LAB · 2026

DesireOrientation names the way desire organises directions, proximities and possible futures before it settles upon a definite object. Desire is spatial and temporal: it makes some routes feel available, some encounters necessary and some worlds imaginable. The operator shifts attention from what is desired to the field of orientation that precedes selection. It asks how institutions, images and environments shape the directions through which desire recognises its own possibilities.
